I develop my work in the intersection of Science, Technology, Art and Society were collaborative processes play a key role. I work doing things with others in order to approach social innovation projects which are an opportunity to fix things that don’t work with people of different backgrounds (society, science, buissness and administration). Projects provide the framework to research and develop new ways to do new things with others, contributing to build shared solutions.
I have studied during three years in the Massana art and design school, then I became familiar with media field at EMAV and then I was a collaborator at “nit temàtiqus” during the first years of BTV. Then I graduated at Communication Science Faculty of the UAB where I still have to finish my PHD research on Medialabs because In 2008 I got my hands on in the co-design of the Social Media lab at Citilab.
Since then I’m part of both Citilab and UAB where I have been involved in protoyping, learning, researching or teaching as assistant professor (AV drama, TVprojects, Filmaking, etc) at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and as co-director of Citilab’s Social Media Lab: sportic, musiclab, mobilecells, vision, technosummer, MMI.
From 2012 at Citilab I have been managing and researching in national and EU projects: icityproject that promotes the co-creation of public services apps; participatory evaluation of communitarian planning project; Ideall project (user centered design and living lab methodologies). Finally, in 2014 I have become involved in JamToday, Pelars, and Mind the Gap projects!
